A pronounced hip-to-waist ratio is no trivial aesthetic, But an adaptive signal of fertility and robust progeny. Yet misguided fashions defy what evolution has long preserved. Ask any rational observer of nature’s design: “Sir, does thy mate exhibit such fitness?” And his answer, dictated by evolutionary law, shall be: “Indisputably—this woman’s got back!”
