Another Boring Burn Open Editions by Jose Delbo

Jose Delbo is an 88-year-old comic artist whose professional career spans over 70 years and includes work on nearly every iconic comic series we know and love like Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Green Arrow, The Transformers and The Thundercats to TV show adaptations like The Twilight Zone, The Brady Bunch, Hogan’s Heroes, Buck Rogers, The Mod Squad, Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, Little Mermaid and the Mighty Ducks, to American Westerns such as Billy the Kid, Judge Colt and the Lone Ranger. Delbo even illustrated the now infamous Beatles Yellow Submarine comic book.

For the past 2 years, Delbo has been focused on creating works exclusively for the NFT space collaborating with some of the top artists in the space and continuing to evolve his art in the process.

For this newest NFT release, Delbo is releasing 5 new pieces as burn rewards for his collectors. The first piece, The Mutant, gives collectors the opportunity to mutate their Captain Apemo - Genesis for a new, much more scarce Mutant. The second piece, The Creation of Ape, is a very special piece by Delbo inspired by the infamous The Creation of Adam (Creazione di Adamo) by Michelangelo. The piece can only be obtained by burning Delbo’s A Boring Game Of Poker and Captain Apemo - Genesis. Finally, there are 3 limited editions of 10 “Classic Edition” pieces available for burn redemption by burning 1 Captain Apemo - Genesis and 1 variant of Captain Apemo - A Pirate’s Best friend.

All drawing style burns with set edition sizes will end at 2:30 PM EST to allow users to enter the open burns

All open edition burns will be open for 24 hours.

The first edition of each piece and any unclaimed editions will be reserved for Jose Delbo. Delbo has hinted that big things are coming for collectors of Captain Apemo pieces.

Full Drop Breakdown

Drawing/Auctions will open at 6:30 PM EST. Drawings will be open for 2 hours, Ranked auction will be open for 1 hour. Minimum Bid increase is 20$ and any bid made in the last 5 minutes will extend the auction for 5 additional minutes.

Open Editions will open at 7 PM EST and be open for 15 minutes only!

Limited Edition Burns will open at 6:30 PM EST and be open for 20 hours, until 2:30 PM EST. This will give plenty of time to enter into the open edition burns linked below. Please read carefully in the graphic on the page to see which burn you qualify for!

Open Edition Burns will be open at 6:30 PM EST and be open until 6 PM EST. They are extended 3.5 additional hours past the Limited Edition Burns linked above to allow users who do not win to then enter into these Open Editions if they wish.

Please only enter into drawings you are 100% sure you wish to participate in, check the limited edition burns first. If you do not win the limited edition burns, you will have plenty of time to participate in the open edition burn afterwards!
