BakaArts presents his second Nifty Gateway drop with an expansion on the first NFT-powered Graphic Novel "The Ethertales" now featuring The Surrogates and Ether Artefacts.
"We are those that tackle the darkness; we are the ones that see the light; we are the people that look up with hope in our hearts when others think all lost.
There is much that tries to break us. Deep stirrings of ancient needs and lusts, these things that through our evolution we fought so hard for, for so long. Once you have reached the highest of highs, it is not so easy to forget the lowest of the lows.
We fought with these desires, these impulses for so long, for millennia, epochs, suns and moons wheeling overhead, civilisations living their lives and disappearing into the dust of terra, until we lost it all. At what we thought was the pinnacle, instead of standing together, we destroyed one another and escaped our once home to a new one on Mars.
Now, we believe we have surpassed these needs, we have grown, we have wisdom and knowledge that rises us above them. Now we understand more, we have returned to Earth, to explore this once home and engage with its new inhabitants, the Ethereals, to understand what they will teach us about our past, as well as our future."

Darius Puia also known as BakaArts is a 3D and 2D digital artist currently based in Germany who specializes in thought-provoking, fictional, dystopian and cyberpunk worlds. His artworks reflect fantastical "possibilities" that open the mind to an interesting future that hints at where mankind could be headed.
