revisiting the original method of creation most of us begin with as children, DESERT DOWN TOWN is a series depicting the places that made me through illustration ✍️

places that formed the person who i am today. places that make us feel something as human beings. in/around the big city + miles deep into the desert southwest: the barren land that was once the ocean floor during the time of the dinosaur.

this journey through life + the adventures that provide experience, stimulation, and inspiration that ANYONE can embark on to spark something in their own minds 🧠 the adventures that i will always push on EVERYONE to experience for themselves because without these excursions we may never escape our comfort bubbles.

This collection opens on Tuesday September 19 at 8:00 am EST. It consists of 4 first come first serve editions of 15 that will remain open for 24 hours. Any collectors of these four will be eligible to immediately enter a drawing for a bonus piece edition of 5 for just $1 (the minimum), ending at 8:00 am the following day 9/20.

GRAMS (b.1985) is a visual fabricator from New York whose versatile body of work spans filmmaking, photography, sound design, motion graphics, and illustration.

His artistic journey began at a young age but consciously became a major pursuit during adolescence when the artist started experimenting with a camera that had been left unused by his father – with the newfound passion primarily fueled by capturing moments with friends while snowboarding.

To date, some of the artist's top achievements include a sold-out genesis drop on Nifty Gateway, Sloika's all-time high sale of 2 eth, and having his work displayed in Italy, Japan, Canada, and America. Perhaps more importantly, GRAMS’ creative lens has enabled him to travel the world capturing some of the most talented snowboarders and musicians alive.

Through his art GRAMS aims to capture the fleeting experiences earth has to offer in hopes of inspiring viewers to put down their phones and explore the here and now.
