we live in a time where content is king where access often equates to success where skillsets are overlooked by character coolness.
i often feel as if i was born during the wrong era witnessing older friends having had opportunities that millennials will never existing in new york city brushing shoulders with the likes of andy + jean-michel.
do we have future equivalents of the like among us today? thatβs not for me to decide or even speculate on so i created moments i would have enjoyed in periods that don't actually exist.
dreamers can dream. utilize the tools at your disposal. don't leave ideas undocumented. these are the things they tell us, right? well, we're at a point in an ever-evolving technology immersed humanity some consider terrifying. uncertainty of truth. deepfakes to persuade an entire populace. this may be true, especially sans critical thought or attention to detail, but without pushing it to the limit how do we safeguard from accidents? from misperception? from propaganda? there will come a time these things must be dealt with at a high level. as for now, i'm trying to have as much fun as i can imagining what could have been with time travel and a bit of access. this is not photography. this is not "post-photography" (please stop using this term). photography comes from cameras. these images came from my brain, then some calculations, words transformed into imagery, carefully crafted to perfection projecting the desired image, an image that is not a photograph.
