He has worked within digital advertising since 2003, co-founding London based digital production company 'The Confessional' in 2009. Perry has produced online and digital outdoor content for clients such as Amazon, Armani, British Airways, Facebook, Ikea, Jaguar and Virgin Atlantic.
Aside from his work with The Confessional, Perry regularly posts 3D looping animations to social media and Cinema4D tutorials to his YouTube channel. Perry has been involved with NFTs since his first Nifty Gateway drop in 2020. His artwork often provides a whimsical twist to everyday objects and experiences.
This collection is based around two things that have had a great impact on my family life this last year (aside from Covid) - the birth of our baby daughter, and my introduction to crypto and NFTs.
Tommy from Nifty Gateway invited me to create my first drop in May 2020 (which feels like a hundred years ago now) and after a chat with him I was keen to get involved and try it out. That drop opened up a new world of collaboration, community, collecting and opportunity that I have been blessed to be involved with and appreciate. Cut to this year, and Tommy reached out to me again a few hours after my daughter's birth - a rollercoaster of a day! So, I knew this drop had to be something baby related.
Why Milk Monitor? When I was a child at school in England, the teacher would give out small bottles of milk at break time. The child that helped the teacher was called the 'Milk Monitor'. My wife and I have now both become Milk Monitors for our own child!
This collection is a time capsule for the joy, stresses, anxieties and fun we’ve had over the last few months. I liked the idea of turning a common baby bottle into something rare and valuable, like a Fabergé egg. I’ve also found great pleasure in finding the crossover terms for baby related things and crypto. I’m a dad now, so I can officially do dad jokes!
