The Four Seasons series is a section of the artistic project entitled Micromegalic Inscriptions. The ongoing research process of a peculiar and identifiable creative language of Matteo Mauro Studio stops among the folds of the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. A Generative Art series of computational engravings which will be presented during the whole of 2023 exclusively on Nifty Gateway, during the course of four curated drops, one for each season.
The artworks of this series will celebrate and depict the yearly seasonal variations, through form, colours and the ever evolving research of the artist Matteo Mauro in to the evolution of the engraving technology in to the digital realm. His drawing language insinuates and transforms; it implements a process of abundant abstraction, made of infinite linear variations and contortions that multiply the force of traditional inscriptions for a magnetic result.
A closer look of the Preparatory Inscription
My memory of winter is; deep blues, rays of pale light, white picks, snows of thoughts, quiet sunsets, deafening sounds, deep falling moons, the day I was born, red hearts, warm nests, cold memories of hot loves.
