"The Rise & Fall of Two Kingdoms” is a transformative commentary on the meteoric rise and fall of today's web3 exchanges, platforms, & blockchains, and the irony of the fact that when all is done, and the dust has settled, fine art survives as artists are called upon to chronicle history for the masses.
By the age of thirty, Alexander the Great (356-323 B.C.), conquered almost the entire known world of his era. Ascending the throne at age twenty in 336 B.C. upon his father's murder, Alexander embarked on his eleven-year conquest of the known world. He was undefeated in battle and is widely considered to be one of history's greatest and most successful military commanders.
Alexander died in Babylon in June 323 BCE, at age 32. He had not left an undisputed heir, so his generals carved up his empire among themselves, bringing to an end what Alexander had fought so hard to achieve, and so the rise became the fall of the Macedonian empire.
This exhibit reminds the viewer that to foresee the future one need only look back over the past at empires that rose and fell.
Through the lens of the Kingdom of Hollywood, we invite you to experience the battleground.
