About José Delbo

José Delbo is an Argentinian born artist whose professional career spans more than 60 years working for the biggest publishers in the world such as Marvel, DC, and Disney. Over his expansive career, he illustrated nearly every comic hero we know and love including superheroes like Superman, Wonder Woman Batman, Aquaman, Captain Planet and the Transformers, classic American Westerns like Billy the Kid, Judge Colt and the Lone Ranger, and comic classics like the Beatles Yellow Submarine comic.

In July of 2020, his career took a turn when he released the first ever original comic book NFT “Death … No Escape.” Delbo has continued to release original comic fine art as NFTs collaborating with some of the most well known artists in the space and establishing himself as a pioneer in the comic industry as it adopts NFTs as a new medium of expression.
