I followed Nate on Instagram two years ago. What has transpired since we didn’t expect. A global pandemic, NFT’s, me leaving my wife and NYC to pursue NFT’s.
In December of 2020, Nate sent me a DM:
“I’m totally rethinking my whole approach this year. I’ve just jumped into CryptoArt where digital art is valued so much higher. We definitely need to value the work!”
Me: CryptoArt? Hmm, I’ll look into it
Nate: You should definitely look into CryptoArt! Platforms like SuperRare and Nifty Gateway. It’s changing the game for digital artists.
Me: Nice! Thank you
Nate was enthusiastic. Me, I had no idea how to respond, so by saying “Nice!”, I was kindly saying, “Dude, WTF are you even talking about.”
So, 6 months later when I realized what he was talking about and shaking my head for the same amount of time, he asked on June 5:
“Btw... Have you thought about dropping some art on Hic Et Nunc?
Me: “Thank you for that info! On it!”
Nearly 6 months later, and my move back to NYC, I’m writing this. Nate is an OG who I respect and admire as relentlessly as him believing in me. This collaboration is the culmination of our friendship and love of art.
This open edition release will be open for 15 minutes. Holders of both open editions on January 14th will be eligible to redeem for a merged, animated piece
