WIFEs is an animated illustration collection by a wife on highlighting Wives - those people through history who tirelessly support the others, have been working so hard yet go unnoticed. Through these 12 works, the aim is to bring recognition and deliver a powerful message of empowerment to the behind-the-scenes heroes.

ARTIST: MelonBlossom

MelonBlossom is the AKA of Thai artist Blossom Namsom Law. She began her artistic career at the age of 17 and worked as both an artist and writer in Bangkok for a decade. After marrying, Blossom relocated to Houston, USA where she dedicated herself to being a full-time mother.

Presently, Blossom remains active in creating art, using both traditional and digital mediums, with an emphasis on advocating for mental health and empowering women.

Have you ever heard the saying "behind every great man, there's a great woman"? Well, that's certainly the case when it comes to some of the biggest names in history! While we all know about the first man to step on the moon and the first president of America, it's often the second-best or unsung heroes who don't get the recognition they deserve.

So, let's give a shoutout to those hardworking, dedicated individuals who supported the greats and made their success possible. We're talking about the wives who kept the home fires burning while their husbands made history. The ones who raised their children, kept their bathrooms sparkling clean, and made sure they had a warm meal waiting for them when they came home. These women were the unsung heroes of their time, and it's time they got the recognition they deserve.

Sure, it may not change the course of history, but by acknowledging these women and their contributions, we can inspire those who are working behind the scenes to keep pushing forward. So, let's take a moment to appreciate the wives of famous figures like Einstein, Tolstoy, and Picasso.
