Since the origins of cyberspace, governments and other power groups have been trying to control the data and information circulating on the internet, from the 90's, to the current projects being generated on the blockchain. The Internet is a global information network that has become another layer of our reality, which was adopted to operate autonomously. Blockchain technology especially, was conceived as a decentralized, transparent and trusted system that could empower people by eliminating the need for intermediaries while preserving the privacy and autonomy of its users.

However, navigating freely on the web has not been an easy task, in the new blockchain project is a matter of concern, as laws often arise that seek to exert control over innovative projects that seek to improve precarious systems, especially in the economic field.As for information, it is worth saying that historically it has never been free, as laws have always found a rope to suffocate any freedom initiative.

Tornado Cash is one of many storms that spread through cyberspace to free us from the hand of Alexey Pertsev's open source code and other colleagues, as it is known that Blockchain has not only virtues but also a weakness: privacy. Wanting to provide solutions to this, the power groups sought a way to censor and punish this initiative, through a legal imbroglio and thus use the punished as a trophy to modify the behavior of an entire society.

While technological development travels at an impressive speed, it is possible that governments lose control of this storm and there is a hope that the tornado will win by sweeping away the tyranny that oppresses the freedom of individuals, for now we can only say at the moment THE CODE IS THE MESSAGE.
