I’m Solace but my actual name is Carlos Gomez and I’m a digital/fine artist. I’m 18 years old and come from a small town called Soledad. I’ve been painting since I was 16.

Now that I think about it I’ve always had little creative things going on in my life whether I knew it or not. I have memories of my mom making makeshift stuff like decorations and even sewing clothes - I just thought all these little things were so awesome. But then a lot of pain clouded this creative side.

My newest collection it’s called “Recollections” because when I was making the pieces I was looking back on life and just letting my feelings sink in. I make these pieces being optimistic about the future and I inspire myself to keep going and keep creating things that wouldn’t be there if I wasn’t here.
