As one of the first female artists to debut in the early days of this digital revolution Sarah Ann Banks makes her triumphant return, after two years to Nifty Gateway.

“The Immersive Shadow” is a 6-part episodic series of works that will expand on Sarah’s vision of how storytelling is presented in this new web3 age.

Chapter 1: “Baby Phantom” explores the journey of a small ethereal being who is just learning its powers’ depths. The phantom explores the possibilities of multiple bodies and forms, jumping between universes in the process. It is always equipped with the same curious eyes. Sometimes it is the gas within a bubble, other times it is a shadowy figure, lurking behind a curtain. In this piece, we see what the phantom is capable of and wonder what it will do with these possibilities in the future.
