The first ever collaborative audio-visual NFT of BOYS NOIZE & KELSEY LU together with ART CAMP and NO TRICKS. The original short film was directed by Art Camp, Danae Gosset & Danica Tan, and animated from 2400 pages of hand drawn art and accompanies Boys Noize and Kelsey Lu’s first musical collaboration. Driven by the intensity of a world in flux, the song reflects upon the tumultuous emotional tenor of our uncertain future. An ethereal tapestry of melancholy which explodes after a flood of emotion.
On display is the 4 minute long journey, the first view and listen to the world of Ride or Die created by Boys Noize, Kelsey Lu, Chilly Gonzales and Art Camp. The song and video will be released to the public on March 17.
BOYS NOIZE is a Grammy nominated artist, DJ, producer and subcultural oracle from Berlin, Germany. He has developed a peerless sound that transcends all categories and forged a distinctive path through the world of electronic music, having worked with Frank Ocean, A$AP Rocky, Bon Iver, Daft Punk, Rammstein, Skrillex, David Lynch and Lady Gaga.
KELSEY LU is a classically trained cellist and polymuse from Charlotte, North Carolina, currently based in London. Lu’s artistic practice channels intersections between visual arts, performance, healing activism and music. Lu has worked with musicians such as Sampha, Florence + The Machine, Skrillex and Solange.
CHILLY GONZALES is a best-selling pianist and musical genius known for his sweaty showmanship and composition for award-winning stars. He performs and writes songs with Jarvis Cocker, Feist and Drake and won a Grammy for his collaboration on Daft Punk’s Best Album of the Year.
ART CAMP is a design and filmmaking collective founded by Jos Diaz Contreras and Santiago Carrasquilla that blur the boundaries between visual disciplines, creating unique genre-bending videos for musicians including U2, Thom Yorke, Bright Eyes, and Mitski.
