While the attempt to eliminate the foreign is futile, when a new move takes place, a rebirth takes place. Through the discomfort and through the pain, time will allow a merging of the old you into the new you. You do not have to cut away the old you, simply be open to allowing the new you to flourish. So, while entering into or passing through a new region, language, exercise, friendship or exploring areas of discomfort, lean into this immigration, from the old to the new, with the knowledge that a new, more experienced, and potentially better you is being created. It takes time to grow again, see differently, and speak in a new language. Let time do its work, while you do your work. Allow for it to happen. Renewal.

Neda Tavallaee is a painter, poet, and printmaker. She studied at the Art University of Tehran receiving her BFA and continued her art career achieving exhibitions in cities such as London, Berlin, Tehran and Cape Town. Neda’s art is inspired by graphic art and 70s pop art. Believe it or not, Neda is also a talented singer and songwriter. She almost pursued a career as a professional Opera singer, but due to circumstances did not do so. Neda is an active member and supporter of the community hosting the highly-attended and successful twitter spaces "Art Divan" along with her co-hosts Maryam, Necrofear, and, sometimes, Nanimalisimo.
Mariam Aghaee is a painter and concept artist from Iran. She studied and trained at the University of Tehran and received her BFA. She specializes in figurative and abstract painting and sculpture and has exhibited in cities such as Paris, Tokyo, and London. Mariam’s art is inspired by fashion. Believe it or not, Mariam is also a dress designer. She has designed dresses for actresses that have been worn on the Red Carpet. Mariam is an active member and supporter of the community hosting the highly-attended and successful twitter spaces "Art Divan" along with her co-hosts Maryam, Necrofear, and, sometimes, Nanimalisimo.
