Jack Kaido debuts on Nifty Gateway with Pathways!

Pathways features four Kaido editions that consciously explore a different aesthetic and way of painting than his existing 1/1 work. Finna, Mixer, Coherence, and AFAIK comprise a small series of minimalist, pixel block and gradient-infused explorations that weave a range of sources into his own way of digital abstract painting. Among those influences are American abstract artists Richard Diebenkorn, Agnes Martin and Mark Rothko; the Japanese woodblock artists which include Hokusai, Hiroshige and Hasui Kawase; and contemporary sources of glitch art and abstract digital art, among them the work of AERTIME.

The Ranked Auction and Drawings will begin at 5:30pm ET on Tuesday, October 11, and run for 24 hours. Minimum bid increase of $20. Every successful bid placed within the final 5 minutes will reset the timer to 5 minutes.
