Monstercat is an independent Electronic record label responsible for bringing artists to the global stage whilst revolutionizing how various art forms are made and experienced. Monstercat has partnered with renowned comic artist José Delbo and Grammy-winning electronic producer RAC to create Monstercat’s second collaborative digital collectible pack, the ODYSSEY collection. This follows our first highly successful joint drop, ORIGINS, by digital artist Giant Swan & Platinum- accredited producer Varien.
José Delbo is an 87-year-old comic artist whose professional career spans over 70 years and includes work on virtually every major comic series, from hero-based comics like Wonder Woman, Superman, Batman, and The Transformers to the now infamous Yellow Submarine comic book for The Beatles. For the past year, Delbo has been focused on creating works exclusively for the NFT space, collaborating with some of the top artists in the genre and evolving his art in the process.
RAC’s melody-driven indie-electronica washes over you like faint memories. The songs are soft, light, warm, and comforting… at peace with the past while lodged in the present. His tracks have been streamed over half a billion times and his live performances have taken him to festivals worldwide. RAC’s creative talents have uniquely enriched the ODYSSEY collection with one-of-a-kind scores.
The first part of the collection features 10 NFTs, each with a coloured physical vinyl based on the NFT you receive (for example, if your NFT has ice blue glowing skull eyes, you'll get an ice blue marbled vinyl). Upon purchase, you will be randomly assigned one of the NFT, and vinyl, variations.
