KlimtAnime

Klimt, the quintessentially Austrian of Viennese secession artists, known for masterpieces like The Kiss, was clearly influence by ‘Japonisme’, the craze for Japanese styles and aesthetics during the late 19th-Century Europe. Monica Henson Klimtanime turns it around and introduces the Klimt style to Japanese anime and its popular hentai girls.

“KlimtAnime was created as a homage to the great Gustav Klimt. He was very good at depicting love, passion and sensuality. I wanted to recreate that same sense of sensuality in these pieces.”

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Monica Henson is a Mexican Artist and Illustrator from Chicago. She has been drawing and practicing art since her early childhood. She is a self taught digital artist since 2020 and have been in the NFT Space since February 2021. Her favorite artists are modern impressionist artists such as Monet & Manet. She also enjoys other modern art styles such as Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
