HEADSPACE

HEADSPACE is an exploration of the chaotic state of mind of the working person, through a journey of exhaustion. This collection dives into the contrast between the frenzied internal state of mind yet a highly refined external appearance.

This collection is inspired by two integral styles in Nishant’s previous work—abstraction and form. Nishant has often looked at ‘the working man’ as his muse, who is consumed by both determination and frustration.

Using abstraction to represent chaos, Nishant has juxtaposed the elements of disarray with a minimalistic form, allowing the viewer to focus on the gestural expressions of the figure in each painting.The figures displayed throughout the collection are shown in a monochromatic color scheme to represent the monotony of mundane life.

As we progress through the collection, we watch the subject’s perspective evolve—from experiencing chaos within, to observing the chaos surrounding them.

The 7 paintings are all tagged with NFC chips,creating a phygital bond between the physical painting and the NFT. All primary collectors will receive the physical signed original painting that correlates to the respective 1/1.
