Conversations with the Stars by Steph Crigler

Steph Crigler, AKA Decade2Doodles, is back for her fifth Nifty Gateway drop and the third in her larger Conversations collection. Conversations celebrates discovering and validating our place in the world. It emphasizes how important it is to talk to others when you’re struggling and how much we learn from what’s around us.

Conversations with the Sun and Moon celebrated the connection we have with even the most wondrous, awe-inspiring parts of our universe by placing Doodle Girl in direct conversation with them. Conversations with the Stars transcends this concept by turning Doodle Girl into one of those parts of our universe—reminding us we’re all wondrous here.

A continued theme for this drop is collector appreciation. Similar to the first two parts of her series, Conversations with the Stars has mechanics that are specifically intended to reward collectors.

Steph hopes Conversations with the Stars reminds you that you’re never alone—a central theme in her work. You’re not the only one to have doubts, ask big questions, feel big feelings. And if you ever do feel alone: just look at these doodles, or step outside and talk to the sky. It’s the same sky Steph has turned to, too.

I Just Needed Some Space is an open auction.

Take Your Shot is a collector-only drawing. You must own at least 2 Decade2Doodles NFTs to enter, and you can enter as many times as Decade2Doodles NFTs you own.

Perspective is a public drawing.

Shine Share is also a public drawing.

We Need You is a collector-only open edition. You must own at least 4 Decade2Doodles NFTs to enter (rules are one edition per person).

For any collector who collects one NFT from each Conversations collection (Sun, Moon, and Stars), Steph will be offering a free, signed and framed Conversations print of choice (with the exception of I Just Needed Some Space).

This offer will be available for 24 hours after the drop (expiring 4/28/22 at 5:30pm EST), and physicals must be claimed in the #physicals channel within the Decade2Doodles Discord. The first 10 to claim will receive their choice of frame, while the remaining will receive a standard 8x8 matted frame.
