David OReilly is an Irish artist based in Los Angeles. A computer graphics pioneer, his animated films influenced a generation of 3d design, winning awards at Berlin Intl Film Festival, Venice Film Festival, Sundance, Clermont Ferrand and many others.
David created the iconic game Mountain and the Alan Watts narrated universe simulation Everything - winner of the Golden Nika and the first realtime project to qualify for an Oscar. His mind bending AR effects have been viewed over a billion times across social media. He also served as a writer on shows such as Adventure Time and South Park, and created the futuristic games in Spike Jonze’s Academy Award winning film Her.
David's work has been exhibited internationally including at the SF MoMA, MoMA New York, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Tokyo's NTT ICC and the Hong Kong Arts Center. He has spoken at Harvard, Yale, Pixar, CalArts, Pictoplasma and many other conferences and festivals around the world.
