The final drop on NiftyGateway came as a sudden surprise that I'm still processing. It's tough to lose a space where I could express my art, my shapes, colors, and above all, my thoughts. Today, with an open heart, I want to thank you all for your support, for incredible drops like "The All," "Moonbird," "Gratitude," and "I Can't Believe."
I'll miss the people who have allowed me to continue doing what I love and share my faith with a broader audience. Though this chapter comes to an end, my artistic journey is far from over. I will continue to create sculptures and digital paintings. My journey is just beginning, and I hope you'll join me on other platforms and social media. Let's continue to grow together.
THE ARTIST
The artist, with their vision, perceives the true potential lying within a simple tree; they understand that there is a hidden design in it yet to be discovered. However, to unveil it, the tree must undergo a lengthy process. During this time, its branches are pruned, its trunks cracked, and its leaves shed, while copper wires restrict its movement. It remains immobile for an extended period, shrouded in uncertainty and at a high risk of dying. Its original beauty fades, and it no longer knows what to expect.
But the artist cares for and nurtures it, never abandoning it. The tree has no choice but to wait, surrender control to the artist, and adapt to its new reality. When it least expects it, its leaves begin to sprout again, its wounds heal, and its copper bindings are released. However, this time everything is different; its harsh experiences have transformed it from a simple tree into a bonsai, a work of art that all will admire.
