After a substantial amount of experimenting with different techniques, I have finally found a digital painting style that reflects both my artistic skills and my love for simplicity. My goal was simple, yet challenging: to create a unique abstract art style that is a representation of myself and can be executed in various styles such as drawing, oil painting, vectors, 3D modeling, and even AI.
Achieving this was not a piece of cake, as each technique has its unique strengths, and there are styles that are challenging to replicate in some formats like oil painting or others that make no sense when undertaken in 3D. In addition, I challenged myself to stray from figurative art. My intention was to allow myself the freedom to experiment solely with shapes and structures, giving them the chance to express themselves. In this approach to art, the viewer has the creative liberty to interpret the 'whole' form and the space-time it occupies. Although these shapes might appear simple, it often takes more time to create these pieces than figurative works.
It was a process of several months that became intense these last few weeks, where I was the sole spectator of the ongoing internal battle between a mind attempting to shape everything it sees and a spirit longing to express itself freely.
